Coffee pot i just purchased a Bunn VRP Model no 1660 commercial 2 warmer coffee machine.

I am having the identical probem, I plug it in, it starts to heat, but no brewing. I have removed the lid and the water pan underneath, and looked into the opening. When heating, the voltage on the main heater is 110 volts. It stars to steam, then the unit switches off.I think that for some reason,it's not allowing the temp. to rise to the boiling point. Anybody have any ideas? I'll check on that one way valve in the meantime.
Many coffee machines use a check valve to direct the water in one direction. I suspect this check valve's ball is not moving (which is required)... look for a strange-looking (wider than other tubes) device in the water path...maybe part of a tube.
