Starts fine, but loses fizzle at the end

Basically the tassimo pushes hot water through a t-disc (where the tea or coffee is kept) into a cup. After the cycle of hot water, the machine then pushes air through the t-disc to clear what ever remaining liquid is left over in the disc. This is where my problem is. The air spurt is no longer sufficient to push the excess liquid from the disc. It sounds like it's trying, but no actual air seems to be coming out. any suggestions? I did try a product called 'Clear Flow' for coffee makers, and although it did seem to work at first, the problem came back after only about 7-10 cups. t

I had the exact same issue and was finally able to fix it today! The problem was the air pump was losing pressure and not pushing anything through the tube that's supposed to clean out the remaining water from a brewed disc. I didn't take any pictures, and the machine is already back together, so I'll just describe it the best I can. Every screw I had to remove was a T10 torx head. First, remove both silver plastic sides. To do this, remove the cup holder and the black plastic piece that the cup holder sits in. Also remove the water container from the back. Each side is held on with 4 screws, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. Remove those and take the sides off. Then you need to remove 4 more screws in order to take the top part off. 2 are on either side of the beverage disc holder, and 2 are in the back, halfway up the channel where the water container sits (facing down). Lift the top off, and you'll see a plastic, open topped gear case. That's the air pump assembly. Push the rubber strap that's over the top of it aside so you can lift the whole gear and motor mechanism out of its rubber holder (don't disconnect any tubes, just get it free from the rubber sleeve). Once you've done that, you need to remove the back of the plastic gear housing, which is just a piece of plastic clipped to the rest of the housing. You'll then see the rubber diaphragm that is the air pump. It's connected to the gears by a black piece of plastic sitting over the top of the gearing. You can slip that over the top of the gear and pull the diaphragm out. For the next step, I used petroleum jelly, but you can use whatever you think would work to help the rubber seal to the plastic and not let air leak out. Rub the edges of the rubber with the petroleum jelly (avoid the little flaps - you don't want those to stick to the plastic). That's it! Just reassemble everything and give it a shot. I was amazed that this worked as well as it did. It works like new now! I hope this helps save some time and troubleshooting!
Have a look at the cluster of check valves inside the unit, especially the one connected to the air compressor. I have cleaned these valves with compressed air and solved my problem.WARNING: Use this method with caution because you could damage the valves. You can read US patent 7,231,869 to understand how this work.
