After using coffee that was too small, I can't make coffee with one of the filters
I grinded my coffee in a new store, and did not realize that the coffee was too finely ground. I tried it on my breville, and now nothing happens when I try to make coffee.
The 2 cup filter is fine.
I woudl like a way to clean out the 1-cup filter.

I'm not sure you can. I did exactly the same thing, the very first time I used it -- I phoned Breville support and they told me to try soaking the filter in 2 tsp of baking soda dissolved in a cup of warm water. Which kinda seemed to work, although it was bit occasionally reluctant to give me my damned coffee.
I struggled on with it for maybe a year, but then the rubber seal around the bit the filter connects to blew out (with rather dramatic results). I think the extra pressure of the blocked filter did more damage that I suspected.
I got it serviced and they replaced both the seal and the filter. Worked great after that...
...until last week, when water started pouring out where no water should pour. Turns out that the black lock block that the filter holder goes into has developed a crack.
Looks like another trip to the service agent for me.
In short, you could try cleaning the 1-cup filter, but I would reccommend giving it up as a bad job and just buying another.
Before It Is Too Late.
